Mila May (b. 1997) is a British modern contemporary artist living and working in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Working predominantly with acrylic and mixed media on panel, paper and wood, her practice sits somewhere between painting and printmaking.
Mila's paintings hold a distinctive style, often featuring soft layers, joyful warm earthy colours, simplified forms and playful compositions.

Each piece is shaped by time spent outdoors and in the studio, with inspiration gathered from coastal living, long summer days and nostalgic daydreams of the past and future.
Every collection carries the intention of bringing warmth, familiarity and a sense of joy into the livelihoods and homes - the works find their way to.
