Mila May (b. 1997) is a British contemporary artist living and working in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Working predominantly in acrylic and mixed media on panel, paper and wood, her practice sits between painting and printmaking.
Mila paints and draws original artworks using a mix of materials, playful colours and a loose brush.

Each piece is shaped by time spent outdoors and in the studio, with inspiration gathered from coastal living, long summer days and nostalgic daydreams of the past and future.
Every collection carries the intention of bringing warmth, familiarity and a sense of joy into the livelihoods and homes the works find their way to.

Beach balls, flowers, sailboats, swimsuits, antique pots and deli goods are subjects that appear often throughout Mila's collections, inspired by life's small pleasures and the moments that stay with us long after returning home.
